Welcome to The Links Medical Practice website!

We are a two site Kings College London Training Practice; we have six GP Partners and two Salaried Doctors. We hope you will take a look around our for further information.

The facilities at both sites are modern and are easily accessible by disabled and wheelchair patients. There is easy street parking around our Downham site and a large car park at our Mottingham site.

We are always looking to improve our services and value patients comments, this surgery website is our way of keeping all of our patients up to date with the latest developments at the practice.

We Welcome New Patients.

If you have access to a printer you can download the registration forms and complete them at home before coming along to the surgery. If you are worried about completing forms please give us a ring or visit the surgery as staff will be pleased to assist you in the registration process. If you require a referral to hospital, the doctors at the Links can help you choose the hospital that best suits you.

Noticeboard

The surgery will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th June We will reopen again at 8:15am On Wednesday 6th June with Open surgery. Please contact us before 10:00am if you need to see a Doctor that Day.

APPOINTMENT OPTIONS

We have Saturday and evening appointments bookable in advance .

You may also book a telephone appointment if you wish to discuss an ongoing medical problem. Telephone appointments are not suitable for new diagnosis and complex problems.

Unfortunately we can no longer accept cheques for non- nhs work. We can only accept cash.

Patients can cancel any unwanted appointments using the cancel appointment option on this website.

We have a new medical pod in the waiting area at each surgery. Please feel free to use this facility. Please ask reception for a token and you may use the machine to record your weight, height and blood pressure. The machine speaks instructions but it DOES NOT speak out your weight. At completion the machine will print two tickets with the weight height and blood pressure readings. Please put your name on the slip, tick whether you are a smoker or not and hand one of the copies in to reception.We can use this information to update your records. Please note that if the blood pressure reading falls outside a set range the receptionist may ask you to have your blood pressure checked again by a health visitor.
