Prescribing Hub Launch – 5th February 2024

From Monday 5th February 2024, we are changing the way our prescription telephone system operates.

This service is changing to a message based service only and will be open from 8.30-10.30am daily. This service is not for ordering repeat prescriptions, unless you already have an arrangement with the practice.

Repeat prescription requests should continue to be ordered via the NHS App / via email on [email protected] / or via the internal or external post box.

When contacting the prescribing service please leave your name, date of birth and a message relating to your query and one of our Practice Medicines Coordinators will get back to you. In implementing this service our aim is to manage workflow better and improve the patients experience when contacting the practice.

Please note prescriptions take 3 working days to process, this excludes weekends and bank holidays. Any prescription requests received after close of business will be classed as being received the next working day.
